Avocado is an AI partner for artists and their teams. It works in iMessage, on its own phone number, and it already knows the artist's deals, releases and team.

Avocado's demo with fictional people. The artist approves a request to move the final stems to Dec 3. In the label group chat, Avocado confirms the new date and points out that the signed agreement still says Nov 14.
Avocado's public page, captured Oct 29, 2026. The people and deals in the demo are fictional.

An artist texts it the way they'd text anyone on their team, about a song, an idea, a release date or what a contract says. It answers from the signed deal documents, and it can join the group chats with the label too.

Most of the design is about what can cross from the private thread into a group chat. An artist should be able to think out loud in private, and the label should see only what the artist decides to send.

Moving a deadline

The demo on Avocado's public page, with fictional people, goes like this:

  • In a private thread, the artist asks whether November 14 is really the deadline for the final stems. Avocado answers from the signed agreement.
  • The artist asks it to request December 3 instead, without getting into why.
  • Avocado drafts the request for the label group and asks, "Send it?"
  • The artist says yes, and only then does Avocado send it to the group.
  • The group settles on December 3, with a guide vocal by November 26. Avocado writes the new date into the deal file, with who moved it and when. The signed contract still says November 14.
  • Back in the private thread, Avocado confirms the date and tells the artist it left the reason out.

What stays private

A private thread stays private. Every draft comes to the person's phone first with a code, and nothing goes out until they reply with it. Signed contracts are never edited. A person's phone number is their sign-in, and one text disconnects them.

Teams can also connect their own Claude or ChatGPT to the same deal files through MCP, the protocol AI tools use to reach outside data. Each person sees only what they're cleared to see.

My part

Avocado is a Vers1ons product, and it's live in production. I built it myself, front to back, on site with Warner Music Group's team. The label group's staff can sign up from its public page.

Each artist relationship runs in its own Cloudflare Durable Object, a small server with its own storage that wakes when a text comes in. The deal files are kept in git, the tool programmers use to track changes to code, so every date change has an author and a time, and the signed PDFs never change. Claude does the reading and the drafting.

The public page plays the whole conversation above. For other companies, I build through my firm, Yungsten Tech. If you have something like this in mind, text me at (617) 599-0775.
