The Tensorial Rights Framework

The Tensorial Rights Framework is a general design for representing and validating music rights and licensing constraints across both the sound recording and publishing sides. It was built to support individual creators, labels, remixes, and downstream distribution workflows without collapsing into one-off edge-case logic.

This paper describes the core model, validation approach, and the legal/engineering interface that enabled a production-grade “legal validation layer” for multiple record labels.

This is technical and informational content, not legal advice.
